I wasn’t a huge fan of Donovan’s before reading this. The youngest Collins brother is a grumpy guy and I wasn’t quite sure what to make of him to start with. He’s good at what he does, he’s ruthless when it comes to his work and he comes across as both confident and arrogant but there’s another side to him and that side had me falling for him. There’s a reason why he’s like he is, I didn’t always agree with his attitude (because it stinks sometimes) but I definitely understood why he’d feel the way he does.

Paisley was crushed by Donovan’s actions seven years ago. Now she’s a successful attorney in her own right and she’s going after a job at Donovan’s company. She’s never got over him, he’s never gotten over her, the chemistry and pull is just as strong as it always was but they’re different people now and things are going to get interesting.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Paisley and Donovan’s chemistry and watching them trying to figure out their relationship. This is another great book from these two authors and if you haven’t already I highly recommend reading the other books in this series.
