I love this series. I love the no/low drama storylines and most of all the characters! These characters feel like friends, they are all so easy to like. Like almost everyone else I’ve been dying to get my hands on Tuckers story. Karsyn and Tucker share a past, mistakes were made and rather than live with the regrets, Tucker finally owns up to Karsyn. I loved the relationship between these two. They’re both trying to learn from their mistakes, they’re prepared to put the work in to make this relationship work and they’re both finally starting to open up. This was a little too sweet for my tastes at times but that was definitely a case of it’s not the book, it’s me. If you’re looking for a sweet, second chance romance than I’d definitely recommend giving this book a go.

This book was nothing like I was expecting. I read the blurb and knew I needed to read this story and it was everything I didn’t know I wanted. The characters are fantastic. They drew me to them from the start. The often conflicting thoughts, the need to move on, the want to stay in the past, the emotions, they all helped me to really connect with the characters.

This is a vague review but this is definitely a book that should be read knowing as little as possible. The less you know the more of an impact you’ll feel. I admit I was caught if guard. I wasn’t expecting the turn the story took, I made the mistake of going in thinking I knew what I was getting. What I did get was so much better. I adored these characters. They are so easy to like and relate to. Their story is heartbreaking, it’s emotional but it’s so sweet and touching that I was completely engrossed and I really didn’t want it to end.

This is one of my favourite books from Ms Briscoe and I definitely recommend it. If you’ve read the blurb and you’re half as intrigued as I was, READ IT! I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I loved this book. It’s fast paced, you know it’s building up to something and the anticipation is unreal waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was going insane trying to figure out who the rat was. There’s a real sense of family with all these books but this one really showed that not all family is blood related, that the ones that have your back when things get tough are the ones you need to keep close. 

I’m loving the Heaven Hill Generations series and I can’t wait for more from Laramie Briscoe.

In Suppression we get Nicks story and what a story it is. Nicks past isn’t all sunshine and flowers and getting it straight from him and seeing how much his past is affecting him today, it really made my heart ache for him. I needed him to move past it but of course it’s never that easy. Kelsea has known Nick for years and she knows some of his past but not all of it. Regardless of how he feels about himself, Kelsea knows she’s been in love with him for years and when things start changing between them, she thinks all her dreams are coming true. But Nick is a complicated man, he’s troubled, struggling to see what others see so she’s got her work cut out trying to get a hea for herself and Nick. This is another great book in their series. The characters are really easy to like and if you’re anything like me you’ll be rooting for Kelsea to get her man. I can’t wait for the next book in the LSERT series.

Laramie Briscoe has quickly become one of my must reads when I want a romance that’s not filled with drama and Inflame was exactly what I was hoping it would be. This book gets this new series off to a great start. 

Single dad Ash has spent the last six years putting his life on hold so he could concentrate on his daughter and his job as a fire fighter. Waitress Emma has had a crush on Ash since high school but they ran in different circles and so her crush went unrequited. Until a storm hits town and Ash finds himself at the diner, before he knows what he’s doing he’s already left his number for Emma. 

This book was exactly what I was hoping for. The characters are really easy to like. The slow burn, the chemistry, the relationships between all the characters, not just the two main ones, they’re all done perfectly. I’m a huge fan of Laramie Briscoe and like with all her books I found this one really hard to put down. It’s the perfect book if you’re looking for an easy read romance and will have you hooked without you knowing it.

Ransoms story is the first book in Laramie Briscoe’s LSERT series and it gets off to a great start. Having read the MTF series (which does NOT need to be read before this) this was like been back among old friends.

Ransom and Stella have known each other for forever. Their dads work together so they’ve spent plenty of time around each other growing up. Things change when an emergency happens at Stella’s work and Ransom is the responding officer. It’s not long before they decide that they’re going to give a relationship a go and see what happens between them, but with Ransom working with Stella’s dad and have mutual friends they decide to keep it quiet for the time being.

I really enjoyed this book. There’s no massive dramas, no angst, it’s just two mature people knowing what they want and willing to make compromises to make things work, albeit without anyone knowing. Stella and Ransom are both easy to like characters and I can’t wait for more from the LSERT gang.
