Blog Tour & Review...One Too Many by Jade West

Title: One Too Many
Author: Jade West
Genre: Contemporary Romance

From USA Today Bestselling Author, Jade West

A filthy proposition.

Too much money to say no.
One dirty night in a stranger's bed.

While my husband watches.

A full length contemporary romance novel.

Jade has increasingly little to say about herself as time goes on, other than the fact she is an author, but she’s plenty happy with this. Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse for it is really all she’s ever wanted. Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile. She lives in the Powys countryside with a couple of hounds and a guy who’s able to cope with her inherent weirdness. She has a zebra print living room, and fights a constant battle with her addiction to Coca-Cola.

Wow what a book! I’ve been dying to read this book since I first saw it mentioned. Jade West is one of my favourite authors and after seeing the teasers, I was more than intrigued where this story was going to go.

This book was both exactly what I was expecting and at the same time more than I was expecting. I was already getting an Indecent Proposal vibe from the teasers alone and I was expecting a hot and dirty read. Someone offers cash to spend a night with your wife...you know it’s gonna get filthy. What I wasn’t expecting was the emotional punches to the gut this book gave me. The characters are so very easy to fall in love with. Brett and Grace have a love that’s rare and they’re very easy to understand and relate to. Tom, on the other hand, is a completely different subject. I struggled so much with his complex character, although he did win me over in a big way by the end. While I wanted to love him, I found myself having to walk away from my kindle to calm myself down. I can’t remember the last book that left me in a constant state of conflicted confusion. I didn’t know if I wanted to punch someone or f**k someone while reading One Too Many.

This book is Jade West at her absolute best. She took me on an emotional journey that’s left me desperate for more from all these characters.

Release Blitz & Review...Drawn To Him

Drawn to Him website

http://www.drawntohimcollection.com

There are some men who make you helpless.

You know the kind.  They steal the breath from your lungs and make your heart beat a little faster with a single look.  You can’t stop staring, but the moment they pin those gorgeous eyes on you, you’re done for.

The kind that’s too hard to resist.

This is a collection of men just like that.

Handsome, confident and all for you.

These are the other authors involved with this collection, M. Never, L.J. Shen, K. Webster, Jade West, Isabella Starling, A. Zavarelli and K.L Kreig.

Excerpt from Infatuation by Willow Winters

“You’re very handsome, Mr. Kulls.”  I finally give in to a bit of my desire, and pick up the glass of wine, holding on to it for support in this decision.

His grin widens and he leans forward just slightly to say, “Alec, Lila.  My name is Alec to you.”  He pauses for a moment, then flashes me a smirk and adds, “Unless of course you’d like to scream 'Mr. Kulls' in bed?”

My face heats instantly as he rises from his seat to attend to the beeping oven and he's quick to say, “I do believe Alec may be easier.”

The sweet wine touches my lips and the taste is delicious, but I can’t think of anything other than this man on top of me, making me scream as he thrusts inside of me repeatedly.

“I think you’ve maybe thought a little too far ahead, Mr.- Alec,” I’m quick to correct myself.  I watch as he works in the oven, turning the chicken breasts and then setting the tongs back down on the counter before coming back to his seat.

“Mmm, that could be,” he says picking up his glass, but not sitting.  I cross my ankles and turn in my seat to face him.

“This isn’t very professional,” I tell him with a serious look, or at least the most serious I can manage.  He shrugs his shoulders and then takes a sip from his glass.

“Do you want it to be?” he asks and then adds, “That’s fine if you do.  I understand the attraction may only be on my end.”

My heart thumps hard in my chest.  I don’t think this man knows how to be subtle.  He’s honest and to the point.  But I admire that.

“It’s definitely not just one-sided,” I admit, and then bite my tongue.  I'm thinking I should add that this is dangerous for me.  I could lose my job.  More than that though, this man could crush me.  I’ve never had a one-night stand because I know I don’t really do casual.  I’ve been wined and dined and then thrown away before.  It hurts too much.

I don’t recover easily, and I prefer to avoid relationships.  But it’s been so long since I’ve been touched.

Alec’s deep voice rumbles, “That’s good to know.”  I don’t think a man has ever looked at me with the same level of desire.  It’s tempting and frightening all the same.

“So, tomorrow?” he asks me, and my brow furrows with confusion.

“Tomorrow?” I repeat.

He smiles at me, and the smell of his cologne, or maybe his natural scent hits me with a powerful force that makes me lean in closer to him.

“Would you like to go out with me tomorrow?” he asks.

His gray eyes swirl with a mixture of desire and something else--a desperate need.  I nod my head slowly and say, “I’d love to.”

Overall rating 4.5 stars.

INFATUATION BY WILLOW WINTERS.
4 stars

Lila sets off to an island to interview the mysterious Alec Kull for the magazine she works for. I liked Lila. She's a little out of her element and she's not expecting the instant attraction between her and loner Alec. Alec's family has a long history on the island and there's more to him than meets the eye. I really enjoyed this quick paced story although I was left wanting more details especially about Alec and his family.

THE BILLIONAIRES BEGINING BY M NEVER.
4.5 stars.

Ty Winters is a successful businessman who knows what he wants and will do whatever it takes for him to get it. When he first sees Simone he's instantly attracted to her and although the feelings mutual Simone is quick to put on the brakes. Simones been through a lot and she's nowhere near ready to take the risk of someone hurting her again but she's no idea of how committed Ty is to winning her over. I loved both these characters. Simones past and insecurities give her that added depth that made me really like her.

DR DREAMY BY LJ SHEN.
4.5 stars.

Savannah takes a job working at a small children's clinic and doesn't give the best first impression to her boss, successful paediatrician Dr Rhys Matthews AKA Dr Dreamy. But that's ok because he's kind of a rude arrogant ass. I loved Savannah. I found her really funny, I was laughing out loud at some of her thoughts. Rhys won me over in the end. Even though he starts off as a cold arrogant asshole, he soon proves there's more to him and that there is a nice guy in there somewhere.

MALFEASANCE BY K WEBSTER. 4.5 stars.

Max has raised his two daughters since losing the love of his life years ago. Respected as a Judge, Max is in for a surprise when he bumps into a familiar face. On a night out at a club, Max comes to Dorians rescue and his protective instincts come out in full force. I loved Max. He's protective without been possessive and he does genuinely want to keep Dorian safe. With his help, Dorian starts to feel safe enough to let the old Dorian shine bright. These two are so sweet together. I loved this older guy/ younger woman romance.

FIFTH AVENUE BLUES BY JADE WEST.
5 stars.

I absolutely loved this short, deliciously filthy romance. Male model soon to be tv actor Kyle Prescott returns home to his small town looking for old acquaintance Emily. Emily was always nerdy at school so it's no surprise when Kyle stumbles upon her at the library she's currently working at. Shy, quiet Emily has always had a massive crush on Kyle but knows she's out of his league. Kyle doesn't agree and the sexual chemistry between the two of them gets hotter and hotter. Kyle is deliciously filthy and I loved his dirty side. This has got to be one of my all time favourite stories by Jade West.

DATENIGHT BY ISABELLA STARLING.
4 stars.

I loved this story. Cleo is looking for a fantasy to be played out but she's not expecting the complications it brings. Flynn is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to getting what he wants and he wants Cleo. He knows he has to be play a careful game with her but when a surprise player interferes with his plan, he's protective instincts kick in.
A deliciously dirty, super enjoyable romance.

BAD COP BY A. ZAVARELLI.
5 stars.

When Ginger returns home she knows she's going to have her work cut out for her when it comes to winning over the locals...including sexy sheriff Gray. Gray has never forgotten the girl that he used to get into trouble with but he's having a hard time forgiving her. When he finds out she could be in danger, his protective instincts kick in.
I really enjoyed this. For a short story it really isn't lacking anything.

ONE NIGHT BY KL KREIG
4.5 stars.

Saine is single after her fiancé cheated on her and after going to his wedding to another woman, she ends up in the hotel bar drowning her sorrows. Gaining the attention of a gorgeous stranger, Saine hopes that one night with a hot stranger will help her put the past to rest. Of course nothing's ever that simple, as Saine finds out when her mystery man turns up determined to have a repeat performance.
An enjoyable, hot romance with an alpha that made my knees weak and a feisty female that I couldn't help but like.

Blog Tour & Review...Bait by Jade West

Title: Bait
Author: Jade West
Genre: Romance, Suspense
Photographer: Wander Aguiar
Model: Jonny James
Cover Designer: RBA Designs

A stranger online. Dark hair and even darker eyes that knew my dirty desires before I did.
A fantasy that should never be spoken. But he pulled the confession from me.
And now he’s coming for me.
Rough. Dirty. Dangerous.
It’s supposed to be one night to get me off and make me forget.
He’ll make me his and I’ll pretend I don’t want him to.
I’ll run and he’ll chase.
Because I asked him for this.
I begged him for this.
Tonight, in the darkness, he’s the hunter.
And I’m the bait.

Jade has increasingly less to say about herself as time goes on, other than the fact she is an author, but she’s happy with this fact.
Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse for it is really all she’s ever wanted.
Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile.
She lives in the Herefordshire countryside with a couple of hounds and a guy who’s able to cope with her inherent weirdness.

She has a red living room, decorated with far more zebra print than most people could bear and fights a constant battle with her addiction to Coca-Cola.

I really enjoyed this book. It was exactly what I was hoping for from Jade West.

Abigail is trying to take control of her life but she's struggling. Deciding to tackle the problem head on, she thinks if she lives out her darkest, hidden fantasy that that will help her. Trying to find someone to help her isn't going to be easy and eventually leads her to Leo.

Leo is fighting his own demons but like Abigail, he's struggling. When he sees Abigail's plea for help, he knows that not only can he keep her safe but he'll also be allowed to let his beast out of its cage while giving her what she needs so it's a win win for everyone involved.

Leo and Abigail are both complex characters. They've both dealt with too much heartache and I adored them. The character development in this book is fantastic. The sexual chemistry and the hotness of some of the scenes is unbelievably hot! Bait has a tinge of darkness to it. An erotic, forbidden feel that left me desperate to see how it was all going to end.
