This is the third book in the Ice Kings series and I’m absolutely loving these books. They can be read as stand-alones but I recommend reading them all anyway because they’re just that good!

After breaking up with her douchebag boyfriend, Tessa finds herself crashing at her brothers while she gets a plan together but it’s soon clear that’s not going to work for long. No one wants to hear their sibling getting it on and with no other options she finds herself taking Jason up on his offer of a place to stay. Jason has always had a thing for Tessa but he’s never made his move. Jason is Tessas older brothers best friend so they’ve known each other for years. She’s always had a bit of a crush on Jason but nothing she can’t handle...right? Shes not expecting Jason to feel the same, or for him to be so determined to win her over. Jason is in this for the long haul. Tessa may be his best friends little sister but now’s his time, he’s not going to let her go back to Toronto without at least letting his feelings be known.

I loved Jason. You’ve got to give it to the guy, he’s willing to try whatever he has to, to get Tessa to stay. I think I’m halfway in love with Jason. He’s hot and sexy, sweet and caring. He might not always have the right words to say but his heart is always in the right place. Tessa is another brilliant character. She’s sassy, witty and confident but she’s reluctant to jump into anything after what her ex did and I got that (although I wouldn’t have had her restraint when it came to Jason).

This is another brilliant book from Ms Lynn. She’s quickly becoming one of my go to authors and I definitely recommend this book (and series). I can’t wait for more from the Ice Kings.

Like most fans of the Baileys I’ve been impatiently waiting for Junos story and it was definitely worth the wait. This one is more of an emotional rollercoaster than the previous bailey books, it had me feeling all the feels.

Juno and Colton have been best friends forever. The friendship these two share is heartwarmingly sweet. No one knows them as well as they know each other, they always have each others backs and there’s a genuine love between them. They’ve blurred the lines between them once or twice over the years but Juno has always been blind to who is right in front of her. They’ve had to deal with a few bumps through the years but they’ve never had to deal with one of them getting married. I was already fully invested in these two, before I’d even picked the book up I was hoping Juno would see sense and go after her man. Now everything is changing, her relationship with her best friend is never going to be the same and it’s looking like Juno might have missed her chance.

I loved this book. Every single thing was perfect. The characters are fantastic and easy to like, the story had me hooked and it’s left me even more desperate for the next Baileys book.

Darkest Sin is the third book in the Las Vegas Sin series and can be read as a stand-alone. I haven’t read the previous two books in this series yet but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything.

I’m going to keep this review fairly short because this is one of those books that is best to go into clueless.

I really liked Emma. There’s just something about her that naturally draws you in. She witnessed something she shouldn’t have and since then she’s been alone and on the run. She’s a resourceful woman who’s determined not to be caught. One night she lets her guard down and that’s all it takes for Emma’s world to be turned upside down. Can the gorgeous, mysterious stranger be trusted? Or is their chemistry clouding her judgement?

This is a fantastic read that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I didn’t know who to trust, I had no idea what was going to happen next and I loved the characters. Another great read from J. Saman.

I absolutely loved Noah and Miranda’s story. I don’t know what it is about Ms Neys men that makes me go wild for them but she’s done it again with Noah. He wasn’t at all what I was expecting and I loved it. He’s just a really down to earth, decent, all round good guy who happens to be a successful, professional athlete. There’s something real about him that I couldn’t get enough of. Maybe it was his shyness, his maturity, his insecurities that are so easy to relate to. It could be all of it, I’m not sure but he had me swooning all over the place. Miranda is another great character. She’s selling her grandads baseball cards, she doesn’t want to but needs must, so she ends up sticking them online in the hopes of getting the money to start up her new business. Noah is a collector and just about loses his mind when he sees his chance to get his hands on one of his longed for cards and can’t get in touch with Miranda fast enough. The banter between these two is great, I loved the back and forth messages and the slow burning chemistry between them. There’s some really funny parts that had me cracking up and I didn’t think I’d be saying this but I’m quite the fan of Buzz (really hoping I get his story). I picked this up late on a Saturday night with every intention of reading just one chapter. I ended up staying up until the early hours without even realising how late it was. This story really sucked me in, I was fully invested in the characters and their relationship and I definitely recommend picking up a copy of Hard Pass.

I love this series and I’ve already claimed my man (Cory) but boy did Maddox came close to making me change my mind. I loved everything about this guy.

Maddox and Kinsley have been friends for years, they talk regularly on the phone but it’s been a while since they’ve seen each other. Kinsley has recently been offered a job in Chicago and needs a place to stay. She’s Maddoxs best friend so why wouldn’t he offer to let her stay with him? He’s not expecting her to have such a massive effect on him though. He’s gone from bad boy baseball player who likes the odd fight and been young, free and single to suddenly living with his vegan best friend who loves animals and who surely but slowly has him becoming a better person.

I absolutely loved Maddox and Kinsley. She is a sweetheart and a genuinely caring person who’s got a heart of gold. She’s a little quirky but I liked that. Maddox is completely different to what I’d been expecting. I loved how thoughtful he was when it came to Kinsley, the guy can’t say no to her and I really liked how wrapped around her finger he was. The banter and chemistry between them was perfect and I may have even swooned a time or two (that sweet side of Maddoxs is a killer).

This is another fantastic book from Ms Quinn. Full of witty banter, toms of chemistry and really likeable characters, this is a definite must read.
