This is the second part of the Love Me duet and after finishing Love Drunk I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen in this book. I was conflicted after the first book as to what to think of the characters. This book definitely cleared that up and after going through a love/hate/love relationship with the main characters that changed quite quickly once I’d started Hate Sober. I liked seeing Everlyn realise who she is and what she wants. She’s a stronger person after what she went through and I didn’t expect her to be so resilient.

The Love Me duet is dark and angsty, it’s filled with chemistry and the intense love/hate relationship between Everly and Gunner will keep you constantly guessing what’s going to happen next. Another great read from this author.
