War of Hearts is LIVE & FREE in Kindle Unlimited!!!

This is a FORBIDDEN MC ROMANCE.

I tried not to look at her.
I tried not to want her.
I tried not to love her.
But she won this war of hearts and now I'm a man on my knees.
This love may kill me.
My president will see to that.
No one touches his daughter.
He's removed me from her life.
He's sent me to hell where every day is a bloodbath.
If he thinks he's won, he's wrong.
Every battle is won before it's fought and she won this battle a long time ago.
I surrendered in our war of hearts and now I'll fight to the death for my queen.

"From beginning to end this story was simply superb. I cannot count how many times I yelled, threatened to punch a character, cried tears of sorrow and joy, was completely wordless or just sighed out of utter contentment." - Reading Is Our Satisfaction

I’m not quite sure where to start with this review. The first part concentrates on Zara and Fury’s relationship. Zara is 18, the presidents daughter and completely off limits. Fury is loyal to his president and his club and he’s determined to keep Zara at arms length. Zara was a surprise for me. She wasn’t what I was expecting. She’s only 18 but she’s dealing with some stuff and it’s making her grow up fast. When her dad hears she could be in danger he sends Fury to keep an eye on her to make sure she’s safe, throwing the two of them together. What starts off as just chemistry turns into more. As they develop a friendship Fury gets to know the real Zara and really likes what he sees. I loved watching their relationship progress and develop as Fury tried his best to help Zara and their mutual attraction turned into something more. Then we have the second part which seemed to focus more on the club side of things. Four years later and the club is still trying to eliminate its enemies. Zara has matured and healed (her character development was fantastic) and Fury once again finds himself drawn to her. This time around though he’s not going to be stopped from getting what he wants. That is until his president finds out what’s been going on, and feeling betrayed sends Fury away on club business, leaving Fury trying to mend friendships and relationships while trying to end the threats towards his club.

I really enjoyed this book but I wasn’t crazy about way the focus of the story left Zara and Fury and concentrated more on the club side of things in the second part. I’m not complaining because I love all things club related and it did all tie in with what had been happening but I guess I’m just a little greedy and wanted more from Fury and Zara. Overall this is a great book. If you’ve read other books by this author than you’ll probably love this one too.
