Kate is a lover of all things '80s and '90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. What can I say about Theo? I LOVE him! I challenge anyone to read this book and not be won over by him. There is not one single thing about this guy that I didn’t love. He’s the underdog...I’m always going to root for the underdog. Always. He’s a former band geek, he’s sweet, caring, loyal, he’s just a really good, decent guy. Does he stand out from the crowd? Probably not. But once you notice him, it’ll be hard to take your attention off him. There’s something about Theodore Houseman that I couldn’t get enough of. 

Laney is done with boys. She’s taking time for herself and boys don’t factor into her plan. I loved Laney. Her attitude, her unpredictability, everything about her is fun. A chance meeting brings her and Theo into one another’s lives and they start to form this unbelievably sweet and funny friendship. If I could have picked any woman for Theo it would’ve been Laney. They’re a match made in heaven as far as I’m concerned and I was completely invested in their story. 

This is such a fantastic book. I read this in one go, you would have had to pry my kindle from my cold dead fingers to get me stop reading. I wasn’t sure this was going to be for me when I picked it up but by the end of the first page I was completely hooked. Another brilliant book from Kate Stewart.
