Heartache and Hope
Amazon Global: mybook.to/JMacHH

                Blurb:
Ava Diaz needs saving.
She just doesn’t know it yet.
Just like she doesn’t know a thing about the boy she sits next to on the first day of senior year.
He thinks she’s a brat.
She thinks he’s entitled.
Maybe first impressions don’t always last…
Because Connor Ledger’s about to save her.
He just doesn’t know why.

Well done Ms McLean, you made me cry! And I’m not talking a little sniffle here and there. I’m talking that ugly, I look like a fish out of water because I can’t breathe kind of crying.

Filled with heartache and hope this book nearly killed me. I felt every single emotion like a punch to the chest. I don’t even know how to move on from these books. I’m not ready to let the characters go. Connor Ledger has ruined me for life, I’ll never get over him and I don’t want to!

Connor and Ava’s story isn’t all heartache though, far from it in fact. There’s some humour thrown in to lighten the mood, I cried with laughter at the 12 seconds (you’ll know what I mean when you read the book) and it was very much needed. This book drained me, it tore me up, I have never suffered from so much anxiety as I did reading this duet but I loved every second of it. I love a book that completely consumes me, that has me thinking about the characters for weeks afterwards and this book did that and more.

Bravo Ms McLean. This is an epic story. The characters are truly unforgettable. You broke me more than once and even through you put me back together again, I’ll never be quite the same. A unique and unforgettable duet and an absolute must read. One of my all time favourite duets.
