“I um… Can you hold it out for me?” she asks, blushing a
bright red again. Torrent is such a mixture of shyness and sarcasm that
she intrigues me every minute I’m with her—just wanting to see what she does

I stretch the towel out holding it in both of my arms. I
look at her over the top of it, leering with my face showing nothing but
challenge.
“Like this, Angel?”
“I’m trusting you not to peek,” she warns.
“Scouts honor,” I grin.

What a fantastic start to the new series.
Logan or Devil as he’s known by the Savage MC isn’t a good man. He does what he needs to do for his club and thats all the commitment he’s looking for. Until he meets Torrent. There’s something about the mysterious Torrent that not only intrigues Devil but brings out a softer side in him. Desperate to know more about her he finds himself stalking her (in a good way) trying to spend as much time as he can with her and they slowly start to build a friendship.
Torrent isn’t who/what she seems. She’s hiding things, pretty dangerous things, and knows the last thing she can do is get close to anyone but especially a biker. There were times she infuriated me but I still couldn’t help liking her.
This is a slow burn romance with real, raw characters that’s full of mystery, danger, suspense and twists I didn’t see coming. It’s dark and gritty, emotional and completely addictive. I can’t wait for more from this series and one characters story in particular. I’m already more than intrigued and a little in love with Diesel and I need to know what’s going on with him.
