Book Tour & Review...bro code by Kendall Ryan

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a flirty new standalone about falling for your older brother's best friend. There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy. Don’t be a douche. Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister. Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me. She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits. Falling for her could ruin everything. Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning. I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career. I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?

30 year old lawyer Barrett is determined to make partner. Working long hours he doesn’t have time for anything other than pursuing his dreams and showing his family he’s going somewhere and that he can achieve his goals. Sick of his old player life style, all he seems to do is work, work, work so when his best friend Nick invites him back home for a family party Barrett jumps at the chance to catch up with the people who were like family to him growing up.

Ava is Nicks younger sister and she’s always had a crush on her brothers best friend. With Barrett living in Chicago it’s been a while since they last saw each other and it’s soon clear Ava’s crush hasn’t gone away.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s sexy and sweet, full of chemistry and the characters are great. I loved Ava and Barrett although every time he said bro code I wanted to slap some sense into him. With little drama apart from the whole hiding what’s happening between them from Nick, this is a really enjoyable, easy read book.
