★★★★★ Five Stars

This is the book I've been waiting for since Making The Cut. There's something about Lucky that called to me. He comes across as the happy, smiley joker of the MC but you know there's so much more to him than that and that's why I've been desperate for his story. And then there's Bex! Knowing already that she's a wonderfully complex character made me all the more excited to see just how explosive her and Lucky are going to be together. I've actually put off starting this book for a few days because I've built it up so much in my head that I could only hope Anne Malcom could meet my expectations with Lucky, Bex and their story. I was so focused on getting Luckys story it didn't cross my mind that this would be more Bex's story than Luckys. I can't tell you how happy I was when I realised it was. I found this book to be very frustrating. I needed Lucky and Bex to get their hea's, either separately or together but because of the events that happen, it isn't as easy as that and that was one of my favourite things about this book. There was no quick fix to Bex's problems and her journey is what makes her who she is. She's going to make you love her, you're going to want to wrap her in bubble wrap and keep her safe forever. Lucky was everything I wanted him to be and so much more. This is without a doubt my favourite of the series. The characters worked their way into my heart. They're both such complex characters with so many layers to uncover that it makes them really easy to connect with and to care about. This isn't a hearts and flowers type of romance and that made it all the more special. Anne Malcom did good! Now give me Rosie's story!!! Please!
