Review...Making The Cut by Anne Malcom

Author: Anne Malcom
Title: Making The Cut
Series: Sons Of Templar MC #1

Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos.

Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolo's that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her.

After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn't in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man that is too sexy and dangerous for his own good.

She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas, soon she is in way over her head, and her heart, and her life are in danger once again.

Author Bio

Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth; then as she grew up her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.

Raised in small town New Zealand, Anne had a truly special childhood, growing up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. She has backpacked across Europe, ridden camels in the Sahara, eaten her way through Italy, and had all sorts of crazy adventures. For now, she's back at home in New Zealand and quite happy. But who knows when the travel bug will bite her again?

★★★★ Four Stars

I enjoyed this first book in this series. I struggled a little with Gwen at first. She seemed very young and kind of immature but the more I read, the more I liked her.

Gwens' past relationship with a biker didn't end well and took her a long time to get over so she's understandably wary when she meets biker Cade. I loved Cade. He's a lot more observant than people think and he sees Gwen even when she doesn't want him to. He's got the smoking hot, possessive, protective alpha thing down to a fine art.

This book kept my attention all the way through. I was dying to know what was going to happen and with some twists thrown in that I wasn't expecting and loads more going on, I ended up really liking this story. With loads of other characters been introduced there's someone for everyone to like and I'm looking forward to the next book in the Sons of Templar MC series.
