| 4.5 Stars This is my first book by this author and I will be checking out her other books. Joci is a criminal attorney. Such a great attorney she shows no emotion in the courtroom, which is one of the reasons she is the best. However, this is her first homicide but she has the support of her ex-hubby Adrian who helps her with this case. Adrian wants her back. However, things are more complicated than that, she has a hunky cop who she sees for one night here and one night there. However, he is the man that arrested Cameron the case she is working. His name is Quinn and he is not quite ready to let her go either. Then we have Cameron the man who had been arrested. I not going to go into any details that is all I will say. This book did keep me turning the pages, as I needed to know what was going to happen I loved the characters, I like the story. I read it in one sitting I thought the story is very well written. Not much more, I can really say without giving anything away pick up this book and try it you might be presently surprised. |
