"I may have had more lovers than you, and I may take my clothes off for countless women, but you are the only one who can strip me bare."

Do you ever stop loving someone just because they’re gone?

Five years ago, Ryan Pierce disappeared from Alana Remington’s life without a trace. He was the one she gave her heart to, her soul to — and her virginity to. So, imagine her surprise when she finds him dancing at one of NYC’s hottest male revues as ‘Jack the Stripper.’

Ryan never stopped loving Alana, and now that she has serendipitously dropped back into his life, he’s vowed never to lose her again. But being together has its costs, and challenges Alana isn’t sure she can handle. She finally has Ryan back. But how in the world is she supposed to share the love of her life with half of the women in New York City?

Strip Me Bare is a second chance, standalone romance. It contains angst, heat, humor, heartbreak, and one seductive male stripper who will not only have you handing over your panties, but also your heart.
You’ve been warned.

Alana was devastated after her then boyfriend Ryan broke her heart and disappeared. Five years later Alana's life looks like it's back on track but the after effects of Ryan's sudden disappearance are still very apparent. On her cousins bachelorette night, Alana's out of her comfort zone when she's dragged to a male strip club. The very last person she's expecting to see is the boy who broke her.

I really liked Alana. She's plagued with insecurities and has issues with letting her emotions out and letting people in. The relationship she has with her father is something she's always struggled with and although I didn't necessarily agree with her way of going about things, I could understand her reasons why. Determined to follow her dreams, she finds herself having to keep Ryan a secret to have any hope of having the future she's desperate for and we all know secrets have a nasty habit of been found out.

Ryan is a really sweet, sexy, easy to love guy but he's not been without his struggled. With no choice but to leave Alana behind, Ryan is also trying to make something of his future. Now working as a stripper, he's never forgotten about or stopped loving Alana. With their shared past, family problems and his job, he's still determined to get Alana to give him a chance. I really sympathised with Alana when it came to Ryan's stripping. It's not a situation that I'd be able to live with and seeing Alana struggling with it made her seem more real to me.

This is a really good, sexy, second chance romance. The characters are very easy to like and even though the book spans over several years, I didn't feel like it was drawn out. If you like a second chance romance, I definitely recommend this.
