This book is a continuation of Reese's story and you do need to read A Little Like Destiny first.

Starting where book one finished, Reese is already feeling torn. On one hand she wants what she's got with Brian to last but even she's starting to see it's lacking something. And then there's Mark. The guy she's always wanted. She's firmly stuck in the middle of the two brothers trying desperately to do what's right for everyone else but not necessarily what she really wants.

I've swung back and forth over Mark and Brian during both books and I think Mark's coming out as the winner for me. I loved Mark. Sometimes he annoys me and the whole 'THE' Mark Ashton thing did grate at times but he's definitely starting to win me over. Brian, I liked at the start but now he gives me a dodgy feeling. I'm not sure that I trust him. He's starting to come across as a bit of a spoilt brat and quite selfish.

Reese really is been put through the wringer. I couldn't help but feel sorry for her even though sometimes she maybe could have done things different.

I'll be waiting with baited breath for the next book. I'm desperate to find out which brother (if any) Reese is going to end up with and I can't wait for the twists that I know are coming.
