Orion and Lotus are complete opposites but there's a pull between them from the start.
Orion comes from a bad neighbourhood. He hasn't had the best start in life and he does what he can to make more of himself. He's not a bad lad, he's just trying his best to get out of a bad situation but it always gets worse before it gets better
Lotus falls madly in love with bad boy Orion but it's not long before problems arise. Knowing Orion is keeping secrets is starting to make Lotus question things. Poor Orion is still trying to shelter her from the reality that is his life. They share a deep love but it's also very toxic for them both and It's not long before life gets in the way.
I loved Orion. By no means do I agree with what he does but I can understand why he did kept Lotus in the dark. Lotus, I adored. Their story is told in both past and present (which is my absolute favourite) and it gives you a really good insight into not only their past, but shows how much their pasts have affected them.
A really good, heart wrenching romance with characters that will make you love them in all their messed up glory.
