HOSTED BY:

★★★★  FOUR STARS

Gage Falcon is a successful businessman, devoted father and an alpha with a dirty mouth. Having been betrayed by not only his ex wife but also his own mother, Gage has no intention of putting his trust in another woman any time soon. Using a hook up app, he arranges to meet his 'date' at a bar, not expecting the spitfire serving drinks to catch his eye.

Phoenix makes quite the impression the first time Gage meets her. With her sassy mouth that has absolutely no filter and her take no crap attitude, she soon gets under Gages skin....and of course he has to return the favour. With them both been hurt in the past and with Gages personal life up in the air, Phoenix brings some much needed lightness into his life. The constant banter between these two characters is brilliant, the chemistry is hot and it has some funny parts scattered in it. My only complaint is I felt the ending was rather abrupt. Apart from that, I really enjoyed the sweet, sassy romance.
