Release Blitz..Where Good Girls Go To Die by Holly Renee

Cover Design: Regina Wamba / Mae I Design & Photography
Release Date: April 13, 2017

Synopsis
It was a bad idea from the beginning. He was my brother's best friend and the definition of unavailable. But I didn't care. I had loved him for as long as I could remember. He was worth the risk. He was worth everything. But then he broke my heart as easily as I fell for him. He watched me fall, spiraling out of control, and as I reached for him, he wasn't there to catch me. So I ran. Four years later, I never expected to see him again. He was still my brother's best friend, and he was more unavailable than ever. He looked every bit the bad boy I knew he was, covered in tattoos and a crooked smile. Guarding my heart from him was top priority because Parker James was where good girls go to die. Unfortunately for him, I wasn't a good girl anymore.

✮✮✮✮ Four Stars

This is my first book by Holly Renee but it definitely won't be my last. The title caught my eye and I didn't even read the blurb, I just jumped straight in and ended up reading it in one sitting.

This book goes from past to present and with povs from both Parker and Liv, you get a real sense of what their relationship used to be like when they were younger and what they were both feeling. Parker is best friends with Mason, Livs brother, which adds another complication to their secret relationship. Liv risked her heart four years ago and when secrets and lies ruined what they had together, she ran and didn't look back. So when Mason and Parker turn up four years later unexpectedly, Liv is thrown and all the old hurt and feelings come back.

I really liked the characters. They both have flaws, I didn't always agree with what they did but I couldn't help but want them to sort it all out. This book is angsty, the chemistry between Parker and Liv is perfect and I loved the other characters in this book. I'd love more from Parkers friend Brandon and Staci, they both provide some light hearted banter in this book.

A really good, angsty, second chance romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait to read more of this authors books.
