New Release & Review...White Pawn by Stevie J. Cole

Title: White Pawn
Author: Stevie J Cole
Genre: Romantic Suspense
 Release Date: March 22, 2017

Blurb

This could have been a love story. It could have been, but he screwed that all up. You see, he thinks it’s a game. He thinks I’m his pawn, but he couldn’t be more wrong. Every move he makes, I’ll block him. Every time he thinks he’s about to seize me, I’ll run. Some men underestimate the power of the queen because they’re too busy playing king. They forget she’s the most powerful piece on the board. And love is not a game I’m apt at losing. What will it take for him to realize I’ll never be his pawn, but I’ll happily play his queen? Love is not a game, but the chase certainly is.

Author Bio

Stevie J. Cole lives deep in the woods of Alabama with her husband and two precious daughters. She studied Epidemiology concentrating on cancer research but has always had a passion for writing. Some of her stories will strip you bare, some will give you nightmares, but the one thing she can promise is that she will always give you stories that make you feel.

Raw. Gritty. Love.
Because sometimes characters need to be flawed.

P.S. Stevie's greatest fear is the impending zombie apocalypse. Think about it: swarming armies of decaying, oozing corpses stumbling around with clicking teeth, trying to eat your face. Nothing about that is good. NOTHING!

★★★★ Four Stars

This book is madness!! I felt like I'd fallen down the rabbit hole. I couldn't put my kindle down.

I loved the story, it sucked me in and kept me guessing what was going to happen next. The characters are crazy. I both loved and loathed them. I loved them because like I said they're both crazy and I loathed them because they just weren't that likeable as people. Nevertheless I kept on reading and soon the story just clicked for me.

There's so many parts that are very believable and some that made me sit and shake my head. I found it very tongue in cheek and highly addictive. The obsession that Marisa has truly knows no bounds and this story is like been shoved through the spin cycle on a washing machine.

If you're looking for something slightly different to the norm, something a little surreal and bizarre then this is definitely one for you to check out.
