Release Blitz & Review...Hell And Back by Natasha Madison

BLURB

Meeting him was a fluke. Dating him was a mistake. Watching him become a drug addict put me through hell. Running was my only option.

***

I'm running from my demons and when I find out she's trying to escape her past, I know what I have to do.

One broken cop. One woman fighting for her life. A fragile love.

Sinister secrets that threaten to tear them apart.

They've been to hell. The hard part will be finding their way back together.

★✩★✩★ Five Stars

Bella is trapped in an unhealthy relationship but after a night of hell she snaps, taking her daughter and getting them both somewhere safe. Moving to a town where she doesn't know anyone, it's not long before she's befriended by Brenda (an awesome character, I loved Brenda) who helps bring her out of her shell.

Bella's neighbour, Detective Jackson Fletcher, is an absolute sweetheart. When he spots his new neighbour one night, he knows she's running from something and it's not long until his alpha male comes out and he's determined he's going to protect them.

I loved how Bella evolves during this book. She starts out quiet, timid, paranoid and very closed off but she has a quiet strength that she slowly lets other people see. I loved Jackson. He's a genuinely good, patient guy and I was swooning so hard over him whilst reading this book. The way he handles not only himself but Bella and her daughter give you an insight into what sort of person he is.

Natasha Madison has been on my authors to watch list since I read Something So Right, and it seems like she's just getting better and better. This book has it all. The friendships and relationships, the fantastic, realistic characters that you can't help but love, hot sex, some parts made me laugh, suspense and a twist that knocked me off my feet. I so didn't see that coming at all....There is nothing this book is lacking.

I really like the relationships and bonds between the characters in this book. Whether it's friends or lovers, they're all trying to look out for each other and you get a real sense of family with them all which I really liked. It's not a romance that's rushed, you get to know the characters as they're getting to know each other and because of that I got really invested in the story.

Another brilliant book from Natasha and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next with Micks story.

About Natasha Madsion

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
