Lara and Luke used to be friends. After Lara's best friend Kate choose Cooper over Luke, he's turned into a bit of a man whore. Lara has had a crush on Luke for years but after seeing how much he's changed, she's determined to stay well away from him. Luke has other ideas. The thrill of the chase has him going after Lara until she can't refuse. But after spending the night with him, Luke falls back into his old habits. Determined to move on Lara gets with Grayson (who I really didn't like at all) but her hearts not in it. When things finally seem to be coming together for Lara and Luke, fate throws them both a massive curveball and nothing is like before. Luke has to prove himself all over again but will it be enough? With Grayson determined to win the girl no matter what, Luke pulls out all the stops trying to get Lara to see he is a nice guy. This is the first book I've read by L.P Dover and I enjoyed it, the characters are likeable (especially Luke) and I'll definitely be reading more from this author. |
