This is my first book by this author but definitely not my last.  I've got to be honest, I really didn't like Heather to start with. She's a self admitted snob. When she steps in last minute at a function, she's overjoyed to be sitting with a gorgeous mystery man...until she finds out what he does for a living. Heather did grow on me. I can't say I ended up loving her but the urge to slap her had calmed down and I did find myself liking her.  Seth is the new carpenter on Heathers latest set. He's gorgeous, level headed and has more in common with Heather than either of them know. Even though she's a bitch when they first meet, something about her intrigues him. Wanting her to like him for the real him, Seth finds himself keeping secrets from Heather which you know are going to come out at some point.  I loved the back and forth between the two characters. Heather can be a tad bitchy and Seth can be an asshole but it worked for them and I really enjoyed their story.
