A Lovely Confession is the second part of Roe and Hunters story and picks up five years after A Lovely Obsession ends so you’ll want to be reading that prior to this book. I absolutely loved A Lovely Obsession and no one was more happy than I was with the way that book ended. I love Roe and Hunter together but they so badly needed to grow and live life, especially Roe. Just when I thought I couldn’t love her anymore than I already did, I got this book and a new, stronger, more determined Roe. This girl is so likeable and I loved her inner dialogue. Once the stalkee now the stalker (no matter how hard she tries to justify it she’s a stalker and I loved it) Roe isn’t giving up without a fight.

I fell for Hunter within seconds in the first book. I have a serious soft spot for any stalker (ahhh that explains my girl crush on Roe in this book) and Hunter was definitely one of my favourites. He’s tortured and guilt ridden and normally I love that but I found myself really disliking him in this book. It didn’t last long (I’m a fickle kinda girl) and even when I disliked him I was still rooting for him and Roe to get their acts together.

I really enjoyed both books in this duet. It has everything I love in a book and I didn’t put either book down once I started. Hunter and Roes story is addictive and honestly, I’m a little gutted it’s come to an end. Definitely recommend.
