NHL star Nils’ wild side has finally caught up with him. After spending his evenings partying and enjoying the attention of puck bunnies, Nils is about to have a rude awakening. There’s a video making the rounds that his coaches are not happy about, they’ve cleaned up his messes before but this could be Nils last chance to clean up his act before he loses his much loved career for good. Which leads him to coming up with a proposal to his former step sister Sierra...She needs the money that he’s willing to pay and he needs to good publicity that comes with having a girlfriend.
I haven’t read the previous books in this series and although I feel like I would’ve enjoyed this one a little more if I had done so (that’s my book ocd kicking in) this definitely can be read as a stand-alone. I love the whole fake relationship but I like it even more when the characters already share a past like these two do. If you like a hate to love/ fake relationship romance, I definitely recommend this book.
